VA Suspends Property Inspection Requirements for CARES Act Forbearance Cases

VA issued Circular 26-20-21, suspending property inspection requirements for CARES Act forbearance cases. The temporary suspension only applies to borrowers whose loans are currently in forbearance and were current or had not yet reached the 60th day of delinquency at the time a CARES Act forbearance was requested. Inspections are still required for vacant and abandoned properties.
