VA Extends Suspension of Property Inspection Requirements for COVID-19 Forbearance Cases

VA issued Circular 26-21-27 to extend the suspension of property inspection requirements for COVID-19 forbearance cases. On June 8, 2020, VA issued Circular 26-20-21 suspending property inspection requirements when the loan is subject to a COVID-19 related forbearance and the loan was not 60 or more days delinquent when the borrower requested the COVID-19 related forbearance. This Circular extends the previously announced suspension. The Circular is effective immediately.
