VA clarifies use of plywood when securing abandoned structures in Ohio. On April 6, 2017, an announcement was made on the servicer calls that the VALERI Fee Cost Schedule was revised to reflect the new Ohio state law banning the use of plywood in securing abandoned structures. It has since been determined that plywood is only banned on vacant and abandoned properties in expedited foreclosures. The VALERI Fee Cost Schedule has been updated accordingly.
