Tennessee Allows Employees to Work at Remote Locations

Tennessee passed a bill allowing employees to work at remote locations. Under the bill, a mortgage lender, broker or servicer licensed under the Residential Lending, Brokerage and Servicing Act may allow employees to work at a remote location if certain conditions are met.  “Remote location” means a location other than a licensed location, principal office or registered branch office. The bill went into effective April 8, 2022.
