RHS issued a SFH Guaranteed Servicing Notice (Notice) revising the effective date of recent revisions to the SFH Guaranteed Loan Program (SFHGLP) Technical Handbook (HB-1-3555). On August 15, 2024, RHS issued a Notice announcing amendments to chapters 17, 18, and 19 of the SFHGLP Technical Handbook. The chapters were amended to implement the changes adopted in a final rule amending the special servicing options for non-performing loans and adjusting the Mortgage Recovery Advance process. The amendments to chapters 17, 18, and 19 were effective February 11, 2025 (in conjunction with the final rule). On February 12, 2025, RHS issued a Notice deferring the effective date of the final rule to April 14, 2025. This Notice revises the effective date for the amendments to chapters 17, 18, and 19 to April 14, 2025 (in conjunction with the final rule).
