RHS issued a SFH Guaranteed Servicing Notice (Notice) announcing the postponement of the effective date of the final rule amending special servicing options for non-performing loans and adjusting the Mortgage Recovery Advance (MRA) process. Per the Notice, due to Presidential Executive Order (Regulatory Freeze Pending Review) the effective date of February 11, 2025 for the Final Rule has been postponed. Further guidance will be issued when it is available.
