Ohio Repeals and Amends Rules under Residential Mortgage Lending Act

Ohio adopted rules repealing and amending provisions under the Residential Mortgage Lending Act. The adopted rules repealed obsolete provisions related to the mortgage loan origination disclosure statement, and temporary loan originator license applications. In addition, the adopted rules amended definitions, and revised requirements related to affiliated business arrangement disclosures, advertising, recordkeeping, Division notifications, exemptions, license renewal, examinations, experience, continuing education, and office requirements. The adopted rules went into effect September 1, 2024.
