Illinois Repeals Requirement that Notice of Foreclosure be Sent to Municipality or County in which the Foreclosed Property is Located

Illinois passed a bill repealing the requirement that the Notice of Foreclosure be sent to the municipality in which the foreclosed property is located, or the county the foreclosed property is located (if the foreclosed property is located in an unincorporated territory). The bill went into effect June 9, 2023.
