Idaho Amends Residential Mortgage Practices Act

Idaho passed a bill amending the Residential Mortgage Practices Act (RMPA). Under the bill, a mortgage lender, broker, loan officer, or servicer licensed under the RMPA may not use a mortgage trigger lead in a misleading or deceptive manner. The bill also sets forth requirements and restrictions with respect to mortgage trigger leads. The bills become effective July 1, 2025.
