Georgia Mandates Information on First Page of Security Deed

Georgia passed a bill mandating the information that must be included on the first page of a security deed. Under the bill, a security deed may not be recorded unless the first page of the security deed includes certain information (including information related to the loan and information related to the intangible recording tax). The bill becomes effective July 1, 2023.
