Freddie Mac Rescinds Credit Fee for Certain Mortgages with Borrowers with DTI Ratios Above 40%

Freddie Mac issued Bulletin 2023-12 (Bulletin), rescinding the debt-to-income (DTI) ratio-based credit fee for certain mortgages with borrowers with DTI ratios above 40%. The credit fee was originally announced in Bulletin 2023-01 and intended to be effective for mortgages with Settlement Dates on or after August 1, 2023.
