Freddie Mac issued Bulletin 2024-04 (Bulletin) announcing revisions to the Single-Family Seller/Servicer Guide. Per the Bulletin, Freddie Mac updated a manufactured home requirement to allow either the HUD Data Plate or the HUD Certification Label (rather than both) as evidence an existing manufactured home is built in compliance with the Federal Manufactured Home Construction and Safety Standards. A new manufactured Home, however, still requires evidence of both the HUD Data Plate and the HUD Certification Label. The revision is effective April 3, 2024.
