Freddie Mac issued Bulletin 2024-03 (Bulletin) announcing revisions to the Single-Family Seller/Servicer Guide. Per the Bulletin, Freddie Mac removed the requirement for lenders to provide an insured closing protection letter on mortgages secured by manufactured homes. In addition, Freddie Mac updated Exhibit 4A (Single-Family Uniform Instruments) to reflect a correction to the Texas Deed of Trust in Section 27. All revisions are effective March 6, 2024.
