Fannie Mae revised the Washington Security Instrument Form (Form 3048). The revision to the Washington Security Instrument increases clarity to Paragraph 15(b) (pertaining to default charges). The revision only applies to the recently modified forms (with a footer date of 07/2021 or later). The changes are effective January 1, 2023 (however, lenders may implement the changes immediately).
