Fannie Mae Removes Minimum Representative Credit Score Requirement for RefiNow Mortgages

Fannie Mae updated Lender Letter LL-2021-10 to remove the minimum representative credit score requirement for a RefiNow Mortgage. Per the updated Lender Letter, Fannie Mae no longer requires a borrower to have a minimum representative credit score requirement of 620 to qualify for a RefiNow Mortgage. However, the borrower is required to have a credit score and the credit score must be provided at loan delivery. The updated Lender Letter is effective immediately.
