Fannie Mae issued an update to Servicing Guide Announcement SVC-2023-05 (Announcement), setting forth updates to the Servicing Guide. Per the updated Announcement, Fannie Mae removed the updated version of Loan Modification Agreement (Form 3179) published on October 11, 2023 and reposted the version of Form 3179 that was in effect prior to October 11. Servicers must continue to use the prior version of Form 3179, which must be modified as needed to comply with applicable federal, state, and local law. The revision went into effect November 29, 2023.
