Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac Announce Refinitiv Public Replacement Index Name Change

Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac issued a Servicing Notice (Notice), announcing a change to the Refinitiv Public Replacement Index (Refinitiv) name. Per the Notice, the London Stock Exchange Group (LSEG) will retire the Refinitiv brand, and replace “Refinitiv” with “FTSE” (Financial Times Stock Exchange) in LSEG’s interest rate product names. As a result, all materials and systems referencing Refinitiv must be updated with the new branding during the transition period, which began on November 19, 2023, and will conclude on June 30, 2024.
