Fannie Mae amended Lender Letter LL-2020-07: COVID-19 Payment Deferral (Letter). Per the Letter, Fannie Mae eliminated the requirement to report a delinquency status code for a COVID-19 payment deferral if the mortgage loan is reflected as current in Fannie Mae’s investor reporting system. The amended Letter is effective immediately.
