Delaware passed a bill repealing the sunset date of the Automatic Residential Mortgage Foreclosure Mediation Program (Program). Under the bill, the sunset date of the Program was repealed (sunset date was January 1, 2025). The bill also repealed the sunset date of Delaware’s loss mitigation affidavit requirements (sunset date was January 1, 2025). In addition, the bill amended the information that must be included in a Notice of Intent Foreclose. The bill went into effect August 13, 2024.
