Arizona Authorizes Remote Notarizations

Arizona passed a bill authorizing remote notarizations and establishing requirements for the performance of remote notarizations. A remote notarization is defined as a notarial act performed for an individual who is not in the physical presence of the notary public who performs the notarial act. The bill becomes effective June 30, 2020.
