Fannie Mae revised the Tennessee security instrument Standard Form (Form 3043) and Short Form (Form 3043-SF), and updated the instructions for the Multistate 1-4 Family Rider (Form 3170). The revision to the Tennessee security instrument clarifies the recording tax language above the line at the top of page 1. The update to the instructions for the Multistate 1-4 Family Rider remove an extraneous authorized change. The revision and update only apply to the recently modified forms (with a footer date of 07/2021 or later). The changes are effective January 1, 2023 (however, lenders may implement the changes immediately).
