RHS Removes September 30, 2021 Deadline for Borrower Requested Forbearance Due to COVID-19

RHS issued a SFH Guaranteed Servicing notice (Notice), removing the September 30, 2021 deadline for a borrower requested forbearance due to COVID-19. Per the Notice, until the end of the COVID-19 national emergency, servicers may approve initial payment forbearances for borrowers impacted by the COVID-19 national emergency. The notice includes the following table outlining the eligibility for a COVID-19 forbearance:
