Colorado Prohibits Discrimination Based on Gender Identity

Colorado passed a bill prohibiting discrimination based on gender expression and gender identity. Under the bill, a person whose business includes engaging in residential real estate-related transactions may not discriminate against a person in making available a residential real estate-related transaction, or the terms or conditions of a residential real estate-related transaction, because of gender expression and gender identity. The bill becomes effective September 11, 2021.
