Texas Amends Model Conditional Qualification Letter and Model Conditional Approval Letter Forms

Texas adopted rules amending the model Conditional Qualification Letter and the model Conditional Approval Letter forms. The model forms are available to lenders and brokers licensed under the Mortgage Banker Registration and Residential Mortgage Loan Originator License Act and the Residential Mortgage Loan Company Licensing and Registration Act. The adopted rules also retitled the Conditional Qualification Letter as the Conditional Pre-Qualification Letter. The amended forms become effective May 1, 2020.
