FHA updated the Single Family Housing Policy Handbook (SF Handbook 4000.1). The update contains technical changes for consistency and clarity, and several policy updates. All lenders should review and become familiar with the changes outlined in SF Handbook Transmittal (available in FHA’s Online Housing Policy Library) as revisions have been made throughout Sections I through V of the SF Handbook. The updates are effective immediately and do not affect previously announced effective dates.
