FHA Announces Forward Mortgage Loan Limits for 2017

FHA announced the forward mortgage loan limits for 2017. The 2017 “floor” and “ceiling” loan limits for a one-unit property are increased to $275,665 and $636,150, respectively (rather than $271,050 and $625,500). The 2017 “ceiling” for the special exception areas of Alaska, Hawaii, Guam and the Virgin Islands is $721,050. The forward mortgage loan limits apply to loans with case numbers assigned on or after January 1, 2017.
