This Bulletin: updates Freddie Mac’s selling representation and warranty framework and the servicing remedies framework (including updates to the Independent Dispute Resolution (IDR) Process introduced in Bulletin 2016-1 and updates to the Impasse and Management Escalation Processes; amends the process for issuing notices of servicing defect and servicing remedy letters for title-related defects; revises eligibility requirements for the Principal Reduction Modification; and revises Freddie Mac’s evaluation model clauses and streamlined modification borrower solicitation letters to align with revisions related to the expiration of HAMP that were announced in Bulletin 2016-10.

RHS Updates Monthly Electronic Status Reporting Codes
RHS issued a SFH Guaranteed Servicing Notice (Notice) announcing updated Electronic Status Reporting codes for mortgage servicers. Per the Notice, Default Status Code 10 was
