On February 6, 2025, RHS issued a SFH Guaranteed Servicing Notice (Notice) postponing the effective date of the final rule amending special servicing options for non-performing loans and adjusting the Mortgage Recovery Advance process. Per the Notice, RHS indefinitely postponed the February 11, 2025 effective date for the Final Rule and stated that further guidance would be issued. On February 12, 2025, RHS issued a correction to the final rule officially deferring the effective date to April 14, 2025.
