Colorado Amends Renewal Deadline Date for Supervised Lender License under Uniform Consumer Credit Code

Colorado passed a bill amending the renewal deadline date for a supervised lender license under the Uniform Consumer Credit Code. Under the bill, the renewal deadline date for a supervised lender license was changed to July 1st of each year (previously January 31st of each year). As a result of the change, licenses issued in 2023 expire on July 1, 2024. The Colorado Attorney General may assess an additional fee in January 2024 to cover the costs of administering this change. The bill went into effect August 8, 2023.
