Fannie Mae revised the Puerto Rico Security Instrument Form (Form 3053) and the Texas Home Equity Security Instrument (Form 3044.1). The revision to the Puerto Rico Security Instrument removed the checkbox language from the definition of “Riders”. The revision to the Texas Home Equity Instrument replaced the existing template signature block. The revised forms must be used for all loans with Note dates on or after June 1, 2023 (lenders may, however, use the forms immediately).
