VA Consolidates Revises Forms 26-1820 (Report and Certification of Loan Disbursement) and 26-6393 (VA Loan Analysis), and Discontinues Use of Forms 26-0503 (Federal Collection Policy Notice) and 26-1802a (HUD/VA Addendum to the URLA)

VA issued Circulars 26-23-03 and 26-23-04 (Circulars), revising Forms 26-1820 (Report and Certification of Loan Disbursement), and discontinuing the use of Forms 26-0503 (Federal Collection Policy Notice) and 26-1802a (HUD/VA Addendum to the URLA). Per the Circulars, VA consolidated Forms 26-1802a and 26-0503 into the revised Form 26-1820. VA also revised Form 26-6393 to require additional information on lines 45 through 52 to capture information used in determining the ability of a borrower to qualify for a VA home loan. The revised Forms are required for loans with application dates on or after February 1, 2023 (lenders are, however, encouraged to use the updated Forms immediately). The use of Forms 26-1802a and 26-0503 is no longer required for loans with application dates on or after February 1, 2023.
