Montana Repeals Increased License Renewal Fees under the Montana Mortgage Act

Montana adopted rules repealing the previously adopted increased license renewal fees under the Montana Mortgage Act (MMA). In September of 2021, Montana adopted rules increasing license renewal fees under the MMA. The increased renewal fees were effective for license periods on or after January 1, 2023. This rule adoption repeals the increased renewal fees and maintains the renewal fees for the 2023 license period at the same level as the 2022 license period. The rule adoption went into effect August 29, 2022.
