Indiana Permits Electronic Foreclosure Sales

Indiana passed a bill permitting electronic foreclosure sales. Under the bill, a sheriff may now conduct a foreclosure sale electronically (in addition to conducting a foreclosure sale at the sheriff’s office, or at another location that is reasonably likely to attract higher competitive bids). The bill becomes effective July 1, 2022.
