Fannie Mae revised instructions to the MERS Rider (Form 3158) and to the Montana, Oregon, and Washington Security Instruments (Form 3027, Form 3038, and Form 3048). The revised instructions remove an inapplicable MERS related authorized change. The revision only applies to the recently modified forms (with a footer date of 07/2021 or later). The changes are effective January 1, 2023 (however, lenders may implement the changes immediately).
